The Hype
Some of the hottest up and comers to hit the current deep/tech house, scene are assembled together on this Deep in Tech large EP debuting on Nite Grooves. This mini comp swells, loosens, then tightens and jacks up the virtual cortex. From the Deep Spacious mind-expanding Dub Modo "Travel Comet" to the funkier rolling rhythm and distorted vocal sample of Oscar Barila & Higinio "Visions", the the more jackin "Save The Animals" by Slovenian funktech producer Benjamin Shock, to a couple of tunes masterfully reminiscent of Kerri Chandler's early 90's works by deep Dutch producer Prunk "People Get the Answer" and the kick-off track by UK Deep House producer Mr. Kavalicious' "Strawberry Lips". Additional instrumentals like a minimally invasive groover by UK producer Ted Spong's "Catalyst"and returning Iberian Ricardo Flores and his dreamy, "Three Whispers" this has a lot of electronic techie flavors that's sure to please many pallets.

The Hype
We here at Street King highly advocate the usage of electronic musical cross-cultures and genre-bending dance styles. Having released productions and cross-pollinated their remixes from every corner of the globe, we found this release to fit the tune mold to a “t” with his debut production "Whispers" recently on King St's New Breed of Soulful House EP, wonderfully-talented Portuguese producer Alex Ander follows up with "Arabian Nights." As one might guess, he brings exotic Middle Eastern and delightful Moroccan sounds and chants and cross breeds them on a 4/4 beat. This is something you may hear DJ Rehka play at the beginning of the night at Basement Bhangra. Keeping in step with a modest bpm and incredibly pleasing to the ear drum, Croatian producer Yakka, brings a more of a funky slap-happy rollin house mix to the table and fellow Iberian producer Glender offers a simpler, more stripped-down affair.

Italian Tech House/Minimal producer Locarini comes to class with three solid joints in hand. Signing his very first EP to King Street's step-sister label Street King, starting with "Effects" a psychedelic minimal joint with a lovely vox. "Bonfires" and "Para Bailar" have an equal amount of good energy, percussive elements, samples and rolling baselines laid out on a continuous loop that make for some happy footing and head nodding.
